Jazz In The Pines Student Clinic

This immersive jazz clinic boasts dynamic mentorship from world renowned faculty, including side-by-sides in rehearsals, intimate masterclasses, and a faculty concert series that highlights both the tradition and shape of jazz to come.

Songwriting Intensive

13 – 17*

Perfect both for musicians who have songwriting experience and want to learn more and those who are just starting out, this exciting summer music program will teach you new skills and techniques to rapidly improve your craft. Students should have basic knowledge of a chordal instrument (piano, guitar, ukulele, etc) and the willingness to sing along!

The Lead Vocalist Workshop

14 – 17*

This intensive hones in on the necessary skills for aspiring contemporary vocalists. Whether you are a pop vocalist or a jazz aficionado, this workshop will show you exactly what it takes to amplify your voice and perform on the stage and in the studio. Students will experiment with techniques to perform in both live and studio settings and learn how to build confidence in their vocal identity.

Junior Instrumental Intensive

9 – 13*

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind summer music camp experience in this innovative intensive for strings and piano. Centered around individual lessons, masterclasses, chamber music, and ensemble work, this program is for late-elementary and middle school students who want to build on the skills they’ve learned throughout the school year, led by ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ instructors and seasoned professional musicians.

Instrumental Artist’s Intensive

13 – 17*

The ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ Instrumental Artist’s Intensive offers a one of a kind opportunity for young artists to engage in a three-week deep dive into everything that a budding musician needs to shape a career in music and get an intimate look at what it’s like to be a part of the ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥â€™s musical community. This comprehensive pre-professional artistic experience allows students to immerse themselves in all facets of music making: Chamber Music, Chamber Orchestra, Collaborative Work, and Solo Performance with opportunities to participate in a concerto competition and perform in front of an orchestra, if selected. Students will also participate in private lessons, masterclasses, and additional coaching opportunities, and select classes/workshops as available (ex. conducting, choir, excerpt class, etc.) throughout the program, as well as attend special performances by our seasoned faculty and special guests. An audition is required.

From Song to Studio: Music Production for Songwriters

14 – 17*

Perfect for students with a songwriting background who want to focus on recording and producing their own music and the works of others. Learn how today’s music is made with hands-on experience utilizing advanced recording equipment, audio software, and songwriting techniques used by top artists. Students will learn how to engineer sound and take full creative control of their music.
