The Next Makeup Artist

Entering Grades 9-12, up to age 17

Explore makeup from fundamental techniques to creative, avant-garde looks designed for editorial photoshoots. Led by an industry professional, this hands-on workshop introduces participants to professional makeup standards, creative development, and the process of working as a makeup artist in the fashion and editorial industry.��

Overview

This creative and educational summer camp introduces students to the fundamentals of beauty and fashion makeup in a supportive and age-appropriate environment. Students will learn professional techniques while developing artistic skills, confidence, creativity, and self-expression. The program emphasizes artistry, design principles, color theory, and creative problem-solving through makeup. No prior experience is required.

*The final showcase is Friday evening, with Saturday being a move-out day.

Additional Information

This program is open admission. Instructors will work with your child at their level. Students will improve and learn new skills, whether they are a beginner or have been exploring makeup artistry for years.

Feel free to bring any favorite makeup products and tools that you already own and might like to use. A variety of other options will be available to explore.
